WINE ANYONE?

Good day everyone! Happy Monday to all. We attended our first in person convention this past weekend. We were in Danville IN for the Heirloom Productions Rubber Stamp convention. It was sooooo nice to actually be out doing what we love, seeing people (well, eyes anyway, ugh) and interacting again. I had 2 classes and a make n take and people were just pleasant and grateful the show happened and we as vendors were there for them.

Hi Everyone, today I want to show you a fun card with a little motion to it. When you pull the tab, the front panel flips open to reveal a second panel hidden beneath it.

These are the basic sizes of cardstock you will need to create the card.

Pretty Pink card base 5 ½” x 8 ½” folded at 4 ¼”, tab 2” x 6 ¼” scored at 2” and 2 ½”

Cardinal Red cardstock 3 ¾” x 5”, 3” x 3”, 2 ½” x 2 ½”

Floral 3 5/8” x 4 ¾”

Start by getting the Floral paper ready. Using a pencil and a ruler, measure in 1 ¾” from the right side and mark. Measure from the top down 1 ¼” and mark so that both lines meet. With your ruler still positioned at the top of the floral piece, draw your pencil line from the 1 ¼” mark down to 3 ½”. Cut a slit on this line either with your paper cutter or I use an xacto knife to do this.

Color in the Wine bottle and the wine in the glass. I used my Quickie Glue Pen and Glamour Dust glitter to add a hint of sparkle to the label on the bottle and the wine glass.

Attach with double sided tape or adhesive of choice both the white squares to the coordinating Cardinal Red squares.

Take out the Pretty Pink piece of cardstock that measures the 2” x 6 ¼” and fold it the first score line so that all you see is the 2” square. Adhere the 2” Cardinal Red square on top of this so that the top and bottom are evenly squared to this piece.

Fold the Pretty Pink cardstock on the second fold. Add adhesive on the strip between that score line and the Cardinal Red square.

Place your larger panel on top of the smaller one, right up to that fold line, adhering only on the little space where you added adhesive so that it completely covers up the first small square under it.

Slide the piece through the slot in the Floral paper piece. The edge of the tab should be on the right- hand side under the floral paper. Don’t pull out too much, making sure the 3” square is sitting in the middle of the floral piece. Open both squares and ONLY on the edge of the 2 ½” Pretty Pink square add adhesive to the edge and lye this down flat so that it catches on the floral. Now you are ready to attach all of that to your card base. Remember not to add any adhesive to the tab piece, it should slide freely. Add adhesive around the floral paper, attach to the Cardinal Red and then to the top of the Pretty Pink Base.

Kits for this are available on the website, they are sold in a set of 4. Stamps Used: Simply Stampin Wine-Bottled Up #1800201 Simply Stampin-People Say #1901302
