IT'S A SPRINGY THINGY

Welcome to todays blog. Gotta say that life is certainly a roller coaster ride! One minute we have our feet firmly on the ground and then woo hoo up we go. I don't do the ride thing, at all, don't like it, won't do it... voluntarily that is. Lately, though, it's thrown us some of those twists and turns.

A lot of the country are also on that ride, with the devastation in Texas, to unprecedented snow from the midwest to New England and of course, the virus. We just need to hang in there, it will get better!

Todays card is the though of spring and Easter. The wonderful colors that spring will bring was in my thoughts when I made this card. The hopes that this Easter will be better than last (I missed having the egg hunt with my grands) my eggs are ready to be filled and that is joyful!

The stamp used today is 1500222 CANDY EGG EASTER

I started out with a slimline fold, measured and cut out the squares. The flower stems in the background was created using an embossing folder and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink. The bunnies were stamped, colored and fussy cut. Foam tape, acetate and a bit of sequins were used to create the shaker. The flowers and leaves are a diecut. The inside sentiment is part of the stamp set and the colored jelly beans are stubbies from Stamps by Judith.
